LOCAL OUTREACH

Local outreach focuses on what we can do outside our congregation in our community and on our school campuses. We host several events for the community including our annual OKTOBERFEST. We also support other local organizations such as the Edwards Street Fellowship Center, The Lighthouse, Domestic Abuse Family Shelter, The Fieldhouse, and Bethany Christian Services. 

PANAMA

We support several international missions
including ones in Panama to help improve
​their health and living. 

ETHOPIA

Rev. Eric and Johanna Stinnett and children are Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod missionaries with the Mekane Yesus Seminary in Addis Ababa, helping to train Ethiopian pastors, evangelists, and missionaries.

WITH GOD'S LITTLE ONES

Former Saint John Hattiesburg pastor Rudy Schaser and his wife Dorothy lead this evangelistic mission in Cambodia, Madagascar, and Philippines.
They are building an educational center to provide vocational ​education to local children.
